About
Nataniël le Roux, born on 30 August 1962, is a South African singer, songwriter, entertainer and best-selling author, best known for his solo stage act and for his lifestyle and cooking television shows. He launched his career in 1989 with the single Maybe Time and has since released fifteen studio and two live albums, staged more than eighty original theatre productions — many of them at Emperor's Palace — and published twenty-one books. He runs a lifestyle-goods company called Kaalkop, Afrikaans for bald, but implying honest or unpretentious. On kykNET he created and hosted the cooking and entertainment programme Die Nataniël Tafel, and, with his brother Erik le Roux, Edik van Nantes. On stage he is often accompanied by the pianist Charl du Plessis.
