Midland are an American country trio formed in 2014 in Dripping Springs, Texas, comprising Mark Wystrach, Jess Carson and Cameron Duddy. The three connected at Duddy's wedding in Wyoming before recording together in El Paso, and built a neotraditional sound that Rolling Stone likened to a mix of George Strait and Seventies yacht rock. Their debut single 'Drinkin' Problem' launched the 2017 album On the Rocks, followed by Let It Roll and later records. The band earned Grammy nominations in 2018 for Best Country Song and Best Country Duo/Group Performance and won the ACM Award for New Vocal Group of the Year. Known for vintage style and tight harmonies, they are a polished touring act.
