Melissa Villaseñor was born in Whittier, California on 9 October 1987, the daughter of Guadalupe Peralta and Miguel Humberto Villaseñor, and is an American comedian, actress, musician and illustrator. She first drew attention for her stand-up and her impressions, then joined the cast of Saturday Night Live for its 42nd season in 2016 and stayed six seasons, leaving at the end of the 47th in 2022.
