McFly are an English pop rock band formed in London in 2003, made up of Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd. Taking their name from the Back to the Future character, they broke through with 2004's Room on the 3rd Floor, becoming the youngest band to debut at number one on the UK Albums Chart, a record previously held by The Beatles. They racked up seven UK number-one singles and were named Best Pop Act at the 2005 BRIT Awards. In 2013 they teamed with Busted as the supergroup McBusted before returning under their own name. Known for a bright, hook-driven sound and boundless energy, McFly remain a reliable sell-out on the UK arena circuit.
