Marti Pellow, born Mark McLachlan in Clydebank, Scotland, in 1965, is a Scottish singer best known as the frontman of pop group Wet Wet Wet. Fronting the band from 1982, he powered their multi-platinum 1987 debut Popped In Souled Out and their signature hit “Love Is All Around”, which spent fifteen consecutive weeks atop the UK chart in 1994. He launched a solo career with 2001's Smile and built a substantial second act in musical theatre, starring in West End productions including Chicago, Evita and Blood Brothers. A polished, charismatic performer, Pellow continues to record and tour, trading on the smooth voice that made him a household name.
