Mark Banks and the Remedy are a London-based five-piece with deep roots in blues, soul and rock, fronted by singer Mark Banks. Their live sets mix original material — including the 2024 single 'Escape' — with covers drawn from the likes of Bill Withers, Freddie King, Eric Clapton and Ray Charles, blending funk-tinged grooves with blues feeling. Beyond their own shows, the band are fixtures of the capital's grassroots music scene, hosting the recurring City of London Blues Jam, an open night that invites musicians of all standards to sit in and play. Regularly booked across London venues, they have built a reputation as a warm, energetic and groove-driven live act working at the soulful end of the city's blues circuit.
