About
María José Llergo grew up in Pozoblanco, joined the local violin school young and sang in the choir at the Colegio Concepcionistas before a music scholarship took her to Barcelona at nineteen. The first single, Niña de las dunas, was recorded with the guitarist Marc López. The EP Sanación followed in 2020, and in 2022 she won a Goya for Te Espera El Mar, from the soundtrack to the film Mediterráneo. ULTRABELLEZA, her album, arrived in 2023.
