About
Maggie Rose, born Margaret Rose Durante, is an American soul and country singer. She signed to Universal Republic in 2009 and released a cover of Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody", then left a year later for the independent Emrose Records, an imprint that drew on James Stroud's Stroudavarious Records. She charted two singles for Emrose and put out the digital EP Maybe Tonight. Two of her recordings were used in episodes of the Disney Channel series Shake It Up and Good Luck Charlie and appeared on the Shake It Up: Break It Down soundtrack released in July 2011.
