About
Light Asylum is an American darkwave and synth-pop project founded in 2007 in Brooklyn by vocalist Shannon Funchess, whose commanding voice anchors its post-punk-influenced electronic sound. The act's 2012 self-titled debut album drew comparisons to Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails.
