Leanne Morgan is an American stand-up comedian from Tennessee, raised in the small farming town of Adams. Her act draws on motherhood, menopause and Southern life, a warmly observational style that earned her the nickname 'the Mrs. Maisel of Appalachia'. Morgan came to comedy after years selling jewellery door to door, gradually turning event bookings into paid stand-up work. Her 2023 Netflix special 'I'm Every Woman' landed among the platform's top ten comedy specials, followed by 'Unspeakable Things' in 2025, and her book 'What in the World?!' arrived in 2024. She made her film debut in 2025's 'You're Cordially Invited' alongside Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell, and co-created and stars in the Netflix sitcom 'Leanne'. She remains a heavy touring draw.
