Leah (born Leani Ekermans) is a South African Afrikaans pop singer and actress who performs under the single name Leah. Her debut album Wonderwerk (2015) earned gold status, and she has won Best Newcomer honours at the Tempo Awards and a Ghoema Newcomer of the Year award. She played Elize de Bruin opposite Bobby van Jaarsveld in the 2013 musical film As jy Sing and later presented kykNET's Boer Soek 'n Vrou. She holds a B.Com (Law) from Stellenbosch University and a diploma from the Waterfront Theatre School in Cape Town.
