About
Kristian Bush is an American singer, songwriter and record producer, born in Knoxville and raised in Sevierville, Tennessee, and best known as one half of the country duo Sugarland with Jennifer Nettles — a two-time Grammy winner whose group charted five No. 1 hits after its debut single, “Baby Girl”, in 2004. He began his professional career in 1994 in the folk-rock duo Billy Pilgrim with Andrew Hyra, and Eddie's Attic runs through that story: Billy Pilgrim released live recordings made there, and Nettles was performing at its open mic competitions in the same years. Solo, he released Southern Gravity in 2015, home to “Trailer Hitch”, and the 52-song project 52 across 2022 and 2023, and he produced Megan Moroney's “Tennessee Orange”.
