About
Kingfishr are an indie folk trio formed in Limerick, Ireland, in 2017, blending indie and Irish folk textures. The three members, Eddie Keogh, Eoghan McGrath and Eoin Fitzgibbon, met in college; they play a mix of guitars, banjo and harmonica behind close vocal harmonies. After debuting with 'Flowers-Fire' in 2022, they scored their first Irish number one single with 'Killeagh' in 2025, and their debut album Halcyon entered the Irish Albums Chart at number one that August, also reaching number seven in the UK. A second Irish chart-topper, 'The Sun Will Never Settle,' followed in 2026, and they released a Live from Dublin album in 2024. On the strength of that fast-rising catalogue they have become an in-demand live draw.
