About

King King are a British blues rock band formed in Glasgow in the summer of 2008 by Alan Nimmo and Lindsay Coulson, both previously of The Nimmo Brothers. They take their name from a Los Angeles blues club that burned down and was immortalised on a live album by The Red Devils. Their first gig was at Rock Haven in Lincoln on 19 July 2008 and their first release the four-track EP Broken Heal that December, three originals and a cover of Luther Ingram's "(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don't Want to be Right". Five studio albums and a live album have followed. The current line-up is Alan Nimmo, Stevie Nimmo, Jonny Dyke, Zander Greenshields and Jon Lodge.
