Judah Friedlander is an American actor and stand-up comedian, born in Gaithersburg, Maryland in 1969. He drew political cartoons and made animated films as a child, and first tried stand-up in 1989 at nineteen while at New York University, where he graduated from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study. He is best known as the writer Frank Rossitano on the NBC sitcom 30 Rock, and as Toby Radloff in American Splendor, a part that earned him a 2004 Independent Spirit Award nomination. Earlier he was recognised as "the hug guy" from the video for the Dave Matthews Band single "Everyday". His stage look runs to oversized glasses, shaggy hair and a slogan trucker hat.
