Juanes — Juan Esteban Aristizábal Vásquez — started his first band, Ekhymosis, in Colombia at 17, and stayed with it for eight albums before going solo. Fíjate Bien, his 2000 debut, earned him three Latin Grammys; Un Día Normal followed in 2002 and Mi Sangre in 2004, whose single "La Camisa Negra" carried him far beyond home. Loco de Amor, Origen and, in 2023, Vida Cotidiana have followed. He has sold more than 15 million records and won 26 Latin Grammy Awards and three Grammy Awards, and works for Colombian landmine victims through his foundation Fundacion Mi Sangre.
