About
John Hollier & The Rêverie is the band of Louisiana singer-songwriter John Hollier, who grew up on a crawfish farm in rural central Louisiana, deep in French-Cajun country, and plays a fusion of rock, soul and alt-country. The band is named for the Old French word "rêver", meaning "to dream". Their latest album, Rainmaker, was made by taking his touring band into the studio rather than hiring session musicians, to catch the energy of the live show; the single "Somewhere Down the Road" is its clearest example.
