About
Jeff Harnar is an American cabaret singer, director and recording artist. His family moved often when he was a child, living in California and Chicago among other places, and he spent that period dreaming and planning for a career in musical comedy. He transferred from Southern Methodist University to New York University, and when early hopes of Broadway roles met scarce opportunities he turned to cabaret instead. He has performed for over four decades in New York rooms including the Oak Room at the Algonquin, Feinstein's 54 Below, The Russian Tea Room and Birdland, as well as The Pheasantry in London. He has worked with KT Sullivan, Liz Callaway, Julie Wilson and The McGuire Sisters.
