Jason Aldean is an American country singer born in Macon, Georgia, in 1977 and based in Nashville. Working in a country and country-rock vein, he broke through in the late 2000s and grew into one of the format's biggest draws. His 2010 album My Kinda Party reached quadruple-platinum certification, and he has notched thirty number-one hits on the US country charts, with "Try That in a Small Town" giving him his first Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper.
