Jack Parow

Jack Parow is the alter ego of Zander Tyler, a South African rapper known for his brash, comedic Afrikaans 'zef' rap and his trademark oversized cap. He broke through around 2009–2010 with tongue-in-cheek hits like 'Cooler as Ekke', emerging alongside acts like Die Antwoord at the forefront of the zef movement. Equal parts party-starter and satirist, Parow has released several albums, launched his own brandy label, and built a reputation as a riotous, crowd-pleasing live act. He remains a fixture of the South African festival circuit, where his irreverent humour and singalong choruses keep audiences coming back.
