Hanson are an American pop-rock band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, formed in 1992 by brothers Isaac, Taylor and Zac Hanson. Working across soft rock, pop rock and power pop, the trio broke through with their 1997 major-label debut Middle of Nowhere and its infectious single "MMMBop," which became their signature song; the album sold millions worldwide and earned three Grammy nominations, including Record of the Year and Best New Artist. Later records such as This Time Around (2000), Underneath (2004) and the orchestral String Theory (2018) followed, most released through their own independent label, 3CG Records. Early adopters of online fan engagement, Hanson have kept up a busy touring schedule for decades, performing worldwide for a devoted global fanbase.
