George Henry Wallace, born on 21 July 1952, is an American comedian and actor. His screen work includes the Mayor of Gotham City in Batman Forever, Sheriff Wyner in the Coen brothers' The Ladykillers, and supporting parts in A Rage in Harlem, Punchline, 3 Strikes, The Wash and Mr. Deeds. He played the doctor distracted by "Witchy Woman" in the Seinfeld episode "The Checks", appeared in Scrubs, and turns up as a fictionalised version of himself introducing the home video release of Jerry Seinfeld: I'm Telling You for the Last Time.
