G Herbo is an American rapper and songwriter, born Herbert Randall Wright III on 8 October 1995 in Chicago, Illinois, and a central figure in the city's drill and trap scenes. He first drew wide attention alongside collaborator Lil Bibby when Drake publicly called them 'the future.' His debut studio album, Humble Beast (2017), was released to critical acclaim, and his third, PTSD (2020), reached the top ten of the Billboard 200. In 2018 he teamed with producer Southside for the joint album Swervo, his major-label debut, and has since released a steady run of records including 25, Survivor's Remorse and Big Swerv. One of drill's defining voices, G Herbo has parlayed that prolific catalogue into a strong presence on the live circuit.
