About
Frenzal Rhomb are an Australian punk band formed in the Sydney suburb of Newtown in 1992, trading in fast, funny skate-punk and melodic hardcore. Singer Jason 'Jay' Whalley has been the sole constant, joined long-term by guitarist Lindsay McDougall, drummer Gordon Forman and bassist Michael Dallinger. Four of their albums have reached the Australian top 20 — A Man's Not a Camel (1999), Smoko at the Pet Food Factory (2011), the number-nine Hi-Vis High Tea (2017) and The Cup of Pestilence (2023) — while 1997's Meet the Family went gold. They built their reputation supporting the likes of The Offspring, Bad Religion, NOFX and Blink-182, and three decades on remain a relentless live act touring at home and abroad.
