About
Frank Maza is a singer and storyteller whose music bridges American songwriting, Afro-Cuban rhythm, flamenco and jazz. Raised between Madrid and Boston, he grew up with the legacies of Bebo Valdés, Paco de Lucía, Nat King Cole, Enrique Morente and Leonard Cohen. His album Back Then, produced by Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning flamenco guitarist Javier Limón, features pianist Chucho Valdés, Grammy-nominated vocalist Daymé Arocena and Cuban jazz pianist Iván "Melón" Lewis. At Eddie's Attic he and Limón present the album's songs, rooted in Cuban, flamenco and jazz tradition.
