About
Folamour is a French DJ and producer whose music is shaped by his upbringing in Lyon; trained on guitar, drums, bass and percussion, he moved from pop and jazz to house music. His debut EP, Deeply Rooted Vibes, came out around 2014, followed by the albums Umami (2017) — an 11-track blend of house, disco swing and future jazz inspired by his appreciation for Japanese culture — and Ordinary Drugs (2019). After 140 gigs worldwide in 2019 he paused touring, and The Journey (2021) swapped samples for original texts and live instruments, with SG Lewis, Tertia May and Zimbabwean artist Zeke Manyika. He marked a decade in 2024 with Pressure Makes Diamonds, released Movement Therapy in 2025 and announced a series of "5-hour set" marathon performances for 2026.
