Etienne Steyn, born on 24 November 1978 in Germiston, is an Afrikaans singer and songwriter. Storie Van My Hart, one of his first Afrikaans songs, was recorded by Laurika Rauch in 2005; AKA Records approached him afterwards and released his debut album as a solo artist. He tours a two-hander with Wouter van de Venter, Twee Stemme, Een Verhaal, an intimate piece of Afrikaans music theatre in which two guitars, two voices and decades of experience carry an audience through stories, laughter and nostalgia.
