Emo Adams (born Imraan Adams, 9 April 1978 in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town) is a South African singer, actor, songwriter and entertainer. He entered the entertainment industry as a child, appearing in David Kramer and Taliep Petersen's District 6: The Musical, and later performed in the international production Kat & the Kings. He released his debut album, Tall, Dark & Afrikaans, and has hosted television programmes including Noot vir Noot and Jou Show Met Emo. He has also appeared in films such as Pretville (2012), and is known as a versatile, energetic stage performer.
