Emily Steel, born on 22 February 2003, is a country-pop singer-songwriter who grew up in the Altrincham and Hale areas of Greater Manchester and has released original songs including "Walking Away" and "Still Chasing You". Music is not her only career: she is an elite CrossFit athlete and weightlifter who became CrossFit European champion in her age category in 2020, and who won gold at the 2023 BUCS Weightlifting and Para Powerlifting Championships in Bangor, breaking the British under-23 record in the women's 64 kg clean and jerk with a lift of 100 kg. She has appeared as Dynamite on the BBC One game show Gladiators since January 2024, the youngest Gladiator on the rebooted series.
