Elandré

Elandré (full name Elandré Schwartz, born 28 August 1995 in Despatch, Eastern Cape) is a South African Afrikaans singer who studied at the Waterfront Theatre School in Cape Town. He rose to fame when a video of his cover of Bruce Springsteen's 'Tougher than the Rest' went viral, gaining over a million views overnight and leading Select Music to offer him a recording contract during a Bok Radio interview. His studio albums include Kleindorpdromer (2017), Boomhuis (2019), Rugsak (2021), Estetika (2023) and Aandklank (2025). He is known for his deep, raspy voice.
