About
Dwight Yoakam is an American singer-songwriter, actor and filmmaker who broke through in 1986 with Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. He recorded ten studio albums for Reprise and has spent his career pushing a hard, Bakersfield-influenced strain of country against Nashville's prevailing grain.
