Dozi

Dozi — real name Henk Opperman — is a South African singer who broke through in 1999 with his debut album 'Mercy', a collection of spiritual Zulu music that earned a SAMA nomination for Best New Artist. Across nearly three decades he's racked up platinum albums like 'Op Aanvraag', 'Storm op die Horison' and 'Siyaya', blending Afrikaans music with Zulu, gospel and blues. A festival regular, he's also a familiar face on TV through his show 'Kom 'n Bietjie Binne' and as a coach on Supersterre.
