About
DMA'S are an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 2012 around Tommy O'Dell, Matt Mason and Johnny Took, two of whom were playing in the alt-country and bluegrass band Little Bastard when the trio started as a side project. The 2014 single "Delete" and a self-titled EP made their name, and a sound of indie rock, Britpop revival and alternative dance has led to comparisons with Oasis and The Stone Roses. Hills End reached number 8 in Australia in 2016, The Glow number 2 at home and number 4 in the UK in 2020, and How Many Dreams? took Best Group at the 2023 ARIA Music Awards. Their self-titled fifth album, released on 21 August 2026, is their first ARIA number 1.
