About
DMA'S are an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 2012, built around Tommy O'Dell, Matt Mason and Johnny Took. Emerging from the alt-country group Little Bastard, they honed a sound blending indie rock, Britpop revival and alternative dance that drew early comparisons to Oasis and The Stone Roses. Their debut album Hills End reached the ARIA top 10 in 2016, and their 2016 Like a Version cover of Cher's "Believe" placed sixth on Triple J's Hottest 100. The 2020 album The Glow hit No. 2 in Australia and No. 4 in the UK, and in 2023 they won Best Group at the ARIA Music Awards. Long a bigger live draw in Britain than at home, DMA'S have supported the likes of Liam Gallagher and Kasabian and headlined London's Alexandra Palace to more than 10,000 fans.
