Dirty Heads

Dirty Heads are an American band formed in Orange County, California, in 1996 by Jared 'Dirty J' Watson and Dustin 'Duddy B' Bushnell, who met during their first year of high school and began writing music in Bushnell's garage. Their sound blends reggae, hip-hop, punk and acoustic rock, and their biggest hit, 'Lay Me Down' with Rome Ramirez, topped the Alternative chart for more than ten weeks. The 2014 album Sound of Change reached number eight on the Billboard 200 and number one on Alternative Albums, part of a catalogue now stretching to nine studio records. Long a fixture of American touring, the group has regularly shared bills with 311, Pepper and Sublime with Rome, co-headlining with Slightly Stoopid in 2024.
