DG Solaris

DG Solaris is the project of the songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Danny Green, formerly frontman of the cult indie-folk band Laish. The music moves between intimate indie-folk, off-kilter pop and something altogether harder to pin down, and Green has released through the years to acclaim from BBC 6 Music, Uncut and Mojo and toured extensively across the UK and Europe. A new album, A Childish Idea, is described as a playful, restless collection that pushes beyond the quieter folk of the previous records into something more rhythmic, colourful and alive. He returns to the Green Note each year for an end-of-year show.
