Despised Icon is a deathcore band from Montreal, Quebec, formed in 2002 and widely credited as one of the genre's pioneers alongside acts like The Red Chord. Built around a twin-vocalist attack, the band recorded The Healing Process (2005) and The Ills of Modern Man (2007), disbanded in 2010, and reformed in 2016.
