Dee Sheridan is an American comedian living in Europe, and his stand-up is built out of the gap between the two: high-energy English-language material about the absurdity of being the loud American in the Old World, from someone who, as his own billing puts it, has seen enough stupid shit to fill a second passport. The promoter of his Johannesburg night at Sima's Funny Galore Comedy Club in Emmarentia, Randburg, describes the style as dark comedy — sharp, unfiltered and not for the easily offended.
