Culolethu Zulu, who records as Culoe De Song, is a South African record producer, DJ and sangoma, born in Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal in 1990. His first name means "our song" in IsiZulu. He began DJing in 2007 alongside local acts like Black Coffee, collaborated with him on "100 Zulu Warriors" and was signed to his Soulistic Music label; in 2008 he became one of the youngest people ever selected for the Red Bull Music Academy in Barcelona. His debut album A Giant Leap went gold in 2009, and Exodus won him Best Male Artist at the 2014 Metro FM Awards. Washa followed in 2016 and Life in 2020. He has played Oppikoppi, Rocking the Daisies and the Amsterdam Dance Event.
