Critical Role is an American web series in which a group of professional voice actors play Dungeons & Dragons. It began streaming partway through the cast's first campaign in March 2015; that campaign ended in October 2017 after 115 episodes, and the second ran from January 2018 to June 2021 across 141. The spin-off limited series Exandria Unlimited aired in 2021, and the third campaign ran from October 2021 to February 2025 over 121 episodes. Matthew Mercer was Dungeon Master for the first three, all set in Exandria. The fourth campaign premiered in October 2025 with Brennan Lee Mulligan of Dimension 20 as Game Master, set in his own world of Aramán.
