Craig Lucas is a South African singer who won the second season of The Voice South Africa, which began airing on M-Net in February 2017 with Kahn Morbee, Lira, Bobby van Jaarsveld and Karen Zoid as coaches; he took the title ahead of the fan favourite Josh Ansley. In the years since he has built a run of gold-certified songs — "Smother", "Hearts Exposed", "Antisociable", "Happy" and "Better" — around a genre-blurring sound and emotionally charged songwriting. His single "Joyride" became one of the most-played local songs on national radio. His live show works back through the defining moments of that career.
