Conrad Koch

Conrad Koch is a South African comedian and ventriloquist, best known for his puppet character Chester Missing, a satirical political commentator. Koch and Chester Missing rose to prominence on the television show 'Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola' (around 2010–2015), where the puppet satirised politicians, including the Jacob Zuma administration. An International Emmy-nominated comedian, Koch has used the act to comment on South African politics and race, and Chester Missing was the first recipient of the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation's Anti-Racism Award. He tours nationally with sharp, improvisational political and social comedy.
