Chus & Ceballos are a Spanish house music production and DJ duo formed by Madrid's Jesús 'DJ Chus' López Esteban, born in 1971, and Pablo Ceballos. The partnership took shape around 2001, the same year the pair co-founded the Stereo Productions label with Carlos Caliço, and it has been prolific ever since, specialising in a tribal-tinged, progressive strain of house. Chus, who began DJing at sixteen and opened Madrid's Teatro Kapital in 1994, brought a long club pedigree to the collaboration, collecting Deejay Mags awards for Best House DJ in 2001 and 2004. Together the duo built one of Spanish house's most recognisable studio and touring brands, and they remain a fixture on international club and festival bills, known live for their driving, percussive DJ sets.
