Choirboys

Choirboys were formed in 1978 by a group of twenty-something mates from Sydney's Northern Beaches, and the hedonistic chaos of that world eventually produced their defining anthem, Run to Paradise. Their touring show of the same name is part concert and part storytelling, a run through the golden era of Australian pub rock told in their own words — the wild nights and backstage madness that only a rock band survives. "They didn't call it Pub Rock back then," says the frontman Mark Gable, "but we were there at the start — and somehow, we're still here. It's hearsay, it's memory, it's what we lived, what we were told."
