Bresh is the stage name of Andrea Emanuele Brasi, an Italian rapper and singer-songwriter born in 1996 in the Liguria region. He belongs to the tradition of the Italian rapper-cantautore, framing hip-hop verses that build toward euphoric, melodic pop choruses, with lyrics ranging across social commentary and personal reflection. His 2021 breakout single 'Angelina Jolie' launched a run that has seen him sell more than a million singles in Italy, and in 2023 he topped the Italian singles chart twice, with 'Guasto d'amore' and 'Nightmares'. That same year he received the Lunezia Prize recognising the musical and lyrical merit of his song 'Altamente mia'. He is a member of the Ligurian collective Drilliguria and Milan's Zona4gang, and has become one of the most in-demand live draws of his generation of Italian rap.
