About
Booshle G was a youth pastor in his early twenties in Kariega, in the Eastern Cape, before becoming an international hip-hop act with performances in Bristol, Munich, Zurich and Amsterdam. His music is a mix of pop, indie, hip-hop and gospel, and his songs turn on identity and self-discovery, carrying a message of perseverance: even the ones about pain hold a strong element of hope and recovery. That spiritual dimension, set against an energetic and intense live show, is what tends to stay with an audience. The South African singer Tatum Tides has joined him on a European tour.
