Blossoms

Blossoms are an English indie band formed in 2013 in Stockport, Greater Manchester, its five members having grown up within a couple of miles of one another. Fronted by singer-guitarist Tom Ogden, with Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan and Myles Kellock, they fold synth-pop and new-wave textures into melodic indie rock. Their breakthrough single 'Charlemagne' set up a self-titled debut album that topped the UK chart in 2016, and they have since collected four UK number-one albums including 'Foolish Loving Spaces', 'Ribbon Around the Bomb' and 'Gary'. A 2017 Mercury Prize nomination and a place on the BBC Sound of 2016 list marked their early rise. Reliable sellers of headline tours, they have played Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds and supported The Stone Roses.
