Blackberry Smoke

Blackberry Smoke are an American rock band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2001, blending Southern rock with country, blues and jam-band flavours. Fronted by singer-guitarist Charlie Starr, the group became, by their own account, the first independently released act to top the Billboard Country Albums chart in modern times, doing so with 2015's Holding All the Roses; Like an Arrow followed to number one a year later, and 2021's You Hear Georgia topped the Americana/Folk chart. Founding drummer Brit Turner died of glioblastoma in 2024. Relentless road dogs, Blackberry Smoke have toured North America, Europe, Australia and South America and shared stages with Guns N' Roses, ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd, earning a devoted live following anchored by their annual Atlanta homecoming shows.
