Bill Bailey is an English musician, comedian, actor and television presenter, born Mark Robert Bailey in Keynsham, Somerset, in 1965 and educated at King Edward's School in Bath. He is known for playing Manny in the sitcom Black Books and for regular appearances on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Have I Got News for You and QI, and he plays a variety of instruments that he folds into his stand-up. The Observer listed him among the 50 funniest acts in British comedy in 2003, and Channel 4 viewers twice voted him the seventh greatest stand-up comic. In 2020 he won the eighteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing with Oti Mabuse.
