Benson Boone is an American pop and pop-rock singer-songwriter, born on 25 June 2002 in Monroe, Washington, who launched his career in 2021 after a brief run on the nineteenth season of American Idol. His breakthrough single 'Beautiful Things' (2024) topped the charts in the UK, Australia, Germany, France, Ireland and New Zealand, and reached number two on the US Billboard Hot 100. His debut album, Fireworks & Rollerblades (2024), peaked at number six on the Billboard 200, and he collected the MTV Europe Music Award for Best New Act that year. A second album, American Heart, followed in 2025. Boone has grown into a headline touring draw, mounting the American Heart World Tour and duetting on 'Bohemian Rhapsody' with Queen's Brian May at Coachella 2025.
