Bennett Coast is an American pop singer-songwriter from San Francisco, California. Working in an easygoing, melodic strain of indie-leaning pop, he built his early audience online, where singles such as "Moonboy," "Sunsick" and "Fleet Week" each drew more than a million streams apiece. He released his debut EP, Brookside, in 2019 and has continued to put out music independently, gathering hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners along the way. His songs lean on warm, laid-back hooks and a bedroom-pop sensibility. Coast has carried that catalogue onto the stage as a touring act, playing to the devoted, streaming-era fanbase he cultivated song by song.
